The ones that help you type in English so people can understand what you're trying to say.

I don't like Slams, but they're recommended by everyone. I like my Shadow 11-B Bars, I just wish they were about an inch wider on each side. An education in the English language is also recommended.

I agree, I've tried them before and I think they are too tall and a bit too wide. I've never tried the Shadow ones before but my shop has em and they look nice.

To me it feels like they bend downwards. I think it's because they have like no upsweep and they are so wide and tall. It makes them feel awkward.

do the shadow 11b bars have a backsweep? cuz i use danscomp.com and it doesnt say anything about a backsweep and the bars seem really nice

It says they have 10*, but it doesn't seem like they have that much, well compared to my old race bars anyhow. There are also 13-B's now which have an 8" rise and 12* of backsweep and an Anti-Sweep bar that only has 5* of backsweep. I hope that was good enough.

^lmao. really? so the 13-B's are only bigger? like no other changes?

I'm pretty sure they mean they can ride their bike with no hands. Not having handlebars and riding it quite a challenge and I'd bet money that they couldn't.

No, they have 2* more of backsweep and the Anti-Sweep 13-B's only have 5* of backsweep.

Get the High Rise ones. They have a 7.75" rise. I like mine, but for racing I wish they had another inch on each side for more leverage. Right now I'm riding with my pinky off the bars.

baconbitss69
10-30-08, 07:41 PM
o well are they good to do tricks with like riding in the park or street?

minichamp31
10-30-08, 07:43 PM
Yeah they would be fine. In racing, the more leverage you get, the faster you're going to go, so I want wider bars so I can get more leverage.

do you know how the backsweep or upsweep would help in tricks?

I don't know. Just get them and ride.
