Hi folks, first post. Nice to be here!
I recently got a CycleOps mag trainer. I like it very much. My husband watched me riding on it and wanted to try it. Unfortunately when he got on it, it creaked, and the whole thing shuddered so much when he rode on it that I got nervous.
He's a big guy and weighs over 250 lb. Are there any trainers built heavier with higher weight limits?
Thanks,
BH
That is one of the most solid trainers out there. They don't have weight specs but they do offer a lifetime warrently on all trainers.

How solid was the connection between the bike and the trainer? This could make a difference along with how he was riding (standing vs sitting) and his pedal stroke.

Thanks very much for the replies, folks. Oak Park Biker, the trainer was in solid, that's the first thing we checked. He was sitting, not standing -- pedal stroke? I'm afraid I'm a noob, don't know what that means. He was pedaling normally, not revving it or anything like that.
He is getting deeply jealous of my trainer .. I have it hooked up to a Gamebike and am currently getting my rear end kicked in MX Unleashed. So he's doing some research to see if we can get something for him. It'll be great exercise if we can! Thanks again.
