Hi guys,
I was thinking about a bmx for commuting(not long distances).
Some advantages:
Small size, easy to carry, take inside, store in small places, maintenance.
Disvantages:
They will say you ride a kids bike.
What do you think?
Anybody allready did that?
Thanks.

You can't sit down, carry much stuff, protect your rear end from road muck.
A 20" folder make work better, but you won't be able to do those front-wheel hops.
The mechanic at my FBS has enough bikes that he can use a different one for each day of the month. Sometimes he will commute on his BMX bike and his commute is close to ten miles I believe. He says that he just leaves a little earlier and doesn't try to push an incredibly fast pace but it's fun to just truck along on a different kind of ride.
