Scary! Glad they caught the robbers- can you believe that they were only 17 and 18 years old? Does anyone know if this is a dicey area?

That area is not really a bad part of town at all. The poor guy was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
As the economy keeps going south, I'm sure we'll be seeing this kind of stuff occur more frequently. And the holiday season is coming as well where people need extra cash. In the Miata world, every year around December, hardtop thefts go up.

I was told yesterday that in a nicer section of the Rose Garden in San Jose, break-ins are starting to happen. I expect more mail to be stolen.

Very scary. I live off of West St. and came home right around 10:30pm last night.
Both areas aren't bad at all although both incidences happened near some older apartment buildings.

Why would you drive all the way from Oakland to Concord to rob people? I guess I'm giving these guys too much credit.
