Hello all,

I am starting to train for St. Anthonys to be my first Tri! I would like to turn it into a fundraising type of thing. Is there anything like Team in Training for other diseases? I would love to do one for Heart Disease if there is something like that. I have no clue but what are some options? How was your experience with them?

A buddy of mine raised $100K for Children's Hospital of Orange County when he did his first IM and he used an online tool to make it easy for those to donate. I thought there was something on Active.com but I can't find it. With respect to selecting your charity, I like to consult Charity Navigator http://www.charitynavigator.org/ to get an idea of how the charity spends their money etc.
