Cyclocross - Aluminum frame w/ disc tabs

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I tried searching the net / threads. I'm searching for a aluminum frame w/ disc tabs for cyclocross. I currently have a Soma DoubleCross with disc tabs (BB7 brakes). The steel is nice for commuting and general riding but too heavy and non-responsive for racing. I'm not really looking for a full complete bike but just the frame and frame/fork combo. Any advice will help. Thanks.
check out the Redline Conquest frame at Nashbar: http://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?category=6000130&subcategory=60001176&brand=&sku=24916&storetype=&estoreid=&pagename=Shop%20by%20Subcat%3A%20Frames%2FBikes
Do you have BB7 Road? If so, how do you like them?

Just got them, but they're the best thing since bread and butter, far as I'm concerned.

I do like them. Takes a bit to get the pads broken in. stops so much better than regular cantis
I think the Conquest has 130mm spacing in the rear so you would have to probably modify a hub (usually 135mm) in order to get it to fit. I don't know why they did that.
I have the Road BB5s and they are more finicky than my mtb ones. I have heard of others complaining about them being squishy but didn't know if that happened with the 7s.
