My riding buddies and I are starting a race team for the downhill season coming up over here. We havent decided on a name yet but what do you do to get jerseys, tshirts, stickers etc. made for you? Is it expensive to have them made? I was also thinking of taking the cheap way and using print off iron on thingos. But im not sure yet. Any suggestions?

As for jerseys, drop JOE G. a pm. He orders jerseys for this site and should be able to help you out. Basically though, any of the name brand manufacturers will be happy to do custom stuff but some of them will have a min. order and if that is not met it may cost you out the arse.

As for stickers and shirts, Google works well. Just look up what you want. lots of places out there.

Hope the team works for you. You should also think about sponsers before having jerseys and shirts made. If you get a sponsor they should be on the clothing.

Check out www.velowear.com (http://www.velowear.com).

They do semi-custom jerseys with no minimum, though they are pricey. An order of one jersey is almost $100.00 US, but that comes down quickly if you order more.

Several BikeForums members have stores at www.cafepress.com (http://www.cafepress.com). Cafepress will print tshirts and stickers to order with no minimum. Their shirts are heat-transfer, rather than screen print or sublimation, though.

My bike club has tshirts made by a local screen printer. There is a screen fee (set-up) fee and then a per shirt charge, but it is fairly reasonable and supports a local business.
