Wow, thanks a million you guys for responding to my post yesterday on bike weights. I originally asked about some fuji bikes and Claud Butler. I'm living in Ireland and currently buying a new bike. There must be a serious discrepancy between this side of the atlantic and yours as the lightest bike a can buy over here for 1000 euors is around 26.5 pounds. I was laughed out of a bike shop here in Dublin when I asked about anything less than 26 pounds. The guy told me I would be going into 2000 - 3000 just to get down to 23 or 24. The title of this post refers to my reaction when I went to the motobecane website. Less than 21 pounds for 1500 dollars!!! I nearly fell off my seat - thats only 1200 euros for me!! I was looking at the fly 9357 and man is that one sweet looking bike. So now that I've glimpsed heaven the next big question is how hard would it be for me to get one of those bikes shipped over to here (Ireland)? Who would I buy it off and how much would it add to the price of the bike? You guys have been a great help, thanks a million to everyone who replied. If anyone can get back to me on the above questions it would be fantastic. Cheers.
