Hi All, Just picked my fuji road bike up a few months ago and am loving it. I am riding about 40 miles a week right now and hope to increase that soon. My question is does anybody know of a bike group or person that is located in the seward park area that would like to ride once or twice a week with a new guy. I am going to sign up for the STP so i am trying to find somebody that could push me a little. Any ideas or help would be great. Thanks a lot.

Welcome! Join up with the Cascade Bike Club - that's the quickest way I know of to get quickly tied in with Seattle-area rides and riders. In addition to scheduled group rides, they have a forum where you can post your question about riding buddies.

You can also just start working up to riding the Lake Washington Loop and see who you meet. The whole loop is a bit over 60 miles, or you can split it at Mercer Island and do either a north end of the lake or (much shorter) south end of the lake.
