What is the most Foo-foo thing you have done on a bike, heard about someone doing on a bike, or seen someone doing on a bike?
By your answers, I will know what you mean by "foo-foo"!

I seen a couple guys on a motor bike trying to hall two sheets of plywood back to their house? With no trailer, Just the guy on the back trying to hold the plywood out to the side of the bike. I got a good laugh at seeing that. They were all over the road. I still wonder if they made it or not.

Reminds me of the rusty half-ton pickup with 2 tons of fill dirt in the bed. The rear bumper was 6 inches from the road. Back end was fish-tailing wildly. I gave them a wide berth as I passed them. Later I wondered if they made it home.
I wouldn't consider that foo-foo though.
Pink bed ruffles are foo-foo.

A couple of days ago I saw a guy on a bicycle carrying two outdoor chairs, really big outdoor chairs. One hand on the handlebar, the other holding the chairs up. He was manuvering really good, but I still stayed way back in case he fell or dropped the chairs.

When we got our Labrador puppy, we were carfree, so I put him in my small backpack and toted him home on the bike. He only paniced briefly at the start, but settled down quickly and enjoyed the ride (I think - we were never again able to convince him to get in the backpack again) with his paws on my shoulder and his tongue flapping about near my ear.
Got some strange looks from motorists that day, and big smiles from kids in the back seats.
Back in college, I got drunk, put on my red union suit with the flap in the back and rode my bike all the way from Towson to downtown Baltimore with my flap down. I eventually had a run in with a couple of Baltimore's finest and they convinced me that properly securing the rear flap was a better idea than spending the night in jail. What I really remember best is the sobering ride back to Towson. To this day I really do not remember what initiated that trip. Nor, do I recall what the whole point of the journey was. Drunken maddness I guess.

I am afraid to tell my most foo-inspired stories of bike rides on a public forum. Let's just say they involved bananas, pink floyd, mystical orbs, and fungus.

It's an old photo. :)
There is one guy I see on a BENT, wearing a stuffed dalmatian on his helmet. We're like ???????
And one day, I saw another guy, out with his club, wearing a RACOON TAIL on his helmet. What is he, Davey Crockett? We laughed about that all the way home, but at the same time... ewwwww!!! One rule for our club- NO FUR!

I'm not sure about Foo Foo, but it's interesting.
More than once, when driving past the Lloyd Center (the nearest mall), I've seen the same girl, who looks to be 18-20 years old, on her bike cruising around. Nothing interesting about that. But, her entire outfit: skirt, jacket, shoes, BIG hat; and her entire bike: frame, bars, pedals, spokes; are completely covered with glossy pictures from fashion magazines. You would think it completely weird, but it's so neatly done that it really looks pretty cool.
A buddy and I once transported a 12 foot tall pine tree (chopped down) between the two of us on our bikes. We laid it down with the bottom pointing forwards, each found a longish branch on opposite sides that was somewhat near the balance point of the tree, and rode one handed down the center of the street. Got some funny looks, but the tree made it fine except for a bit of dust on it where we lost it going 'round a corner.

I think this qualifies as foo-foo, but it is unlike the others.
Just after I put on new clips and straps pedals, I was out on a local bike trail. I rounded curve, and up ahead I saw the most wonderfully filled bike shorts I have ever seen, bent over a bike. The legs hanging out of the bottom of the shorts were just as spectacular.
I figured she is having problems, I will just glide up like Sir Gallahad, hop of my trusty Steed, and fix her problem! Her knight in shining armor.
Well, as I rolled up, my foot got caught in the strap and I tumbled over in a heap! Now, that is not bad enough, but this lovely woman, with the most penetrating eyes you will ever see, looks down at me, a concerned look on her face and says "Oh, Sir, are you hurt?"
I thought just my self-esteem, which needs a decent burial!

Not quite that spectacular!

By your answers, I will know what you mean by "foo-foo"! I was riding through the slums of Camden, NJ. I passed a guy going the other way on a bike. He was carrying a full sized porch storm door. I still don't know how he had it balanced, but he did.

I got drunk and did what I refered to as "bicycle streaking". You get the idea.
Sidenote: I sold the saddle to some stupid freshman after that one

Did this one last night: I was telling some guy that I ride mountain bikes and I have my single speed road bike in my room. He bet me 20 bucks that I could not do one lap of every floor in my dorm without getting out of the saddle on my road bike. This morning, I am 20 bucks richer!
