Well didn't get any takers for the ride tonight. I took off and headed into the mass's...It really was pretty overwhelming to see that many bikes and people, just thousands!
I ran into Alan the music guy, with his huge speaker trailer. He had some good mix's going.
Like a giant herd of Caribou with no single leader the group just started moving. The wave moved at such a slow snail pace that I wasn't too worried about anyone getting injured. There were a lot of people stuck at lights in cars. I truly felt sorry for them...but jeesh there really was enough advance notice!...I mean c'mon! Friday night! Halloween/Critical Mass...
Most of the people I could see that were stuck though didn't seem like they were in a hurry and were outside their cars laughing cheering and having fun. That helped with my guilt a bit anyway.
I had fun taking pictures and it wasn't that much of a strain riding, although I did spend a lot of time with another guy helping Alan push that huge music boat up the hills...Man! that thing weighed a ton!
I kept forgetting that I was in drag and people would give me the weirdest looks when they saw the boobies Cathy made for me. It was really strange going down to the parade and people from my building seeing me...I usually have my fakey morose, stuck up persona on so they won't engage me about crap I don't want to deal with. They sure got to see my other side for sure!, but that's old hat to you all!
Some cute girl said I had a nice ass and I started pulling my dress down in the back and she laughed! I told her to "stop undressing me with her eyes!" Now I know what you chicks go through when I'm around!...:love:
