Texas - Did one of you DFW guys build this fixie?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

That blue one would be good minus a link or two in the chain

Thanks for the link. I'm looking for an orange chain. KMC doesn't seem to have that color. Oh well - wanted one for my Electra Boney Finger.....

Why do you say that? These look like beautiful builds, aside from the loose chain, which is an easy fix. I think if you're going to make negative comments, you should either back them up or not make them at all...

I dont really like the first one. I think the rake of the fork is too much and the tires look huge.

Wow, I knew I was new but dang this thread has been a schooling on "fixies". Not my original intent, I just thought it looked cool, but I now have a better idea of what to look for (and avoid) in a ss.
I want to get my feet wet with one of these sometime this year. I'm still reading up on them. There's a great thread on the 09 models in the Single Speed forum.

oh oh oh where'd the seatpost go?
