Doesn't look like there is as much rain on Sunday ... anyone up for a ride? Or if not a ride, just to hang out for brunch somewhere? I was going to do Montebello, but I did that on Friday already.

Trainer tomorrow I expect. If it's dry, I'll go for a local ride here in Sac/Folsom.

Dude...That's tempting, but I'm going to be painting, cleaning and flipping apartments all day:mad:

I hate working!

I was thinking about heading out. What are you thinking?

Enjoy a ride. It was nice today. Yes it was wet, but I was warm and got in a good 3.5 hour ride. Tomorrow Ill be doing 3hours. Hey, its wet but its not cold. Hopefully my shoes dry out.

I see clouds are starting to break up, so there may be some hope for Sunday. Not sure what I'll do ... maybe decide in the morning.

I'll be riding tomorrow, not sure yet. Maybe up in SF, Marin County. Don't forget to set the clocks back and enjoy an extra hour sleep for one night.

Now that's tempting...I have to ride late, I have too much work tomorrow am, so probablly 3ish if at all.

I might be down for this afternoon ride :thumb:

Probably want to stay close by though.

I live in the Alamo-Danville area. If anyone wants to do a ride starting after 11 or 11:30 in the East Bay, let me know.

I'm showing property later this morning. We'll probably take the tandem out for a Winters loop with a Cantelow climb this afternoon, if it's not raining.

I'll probably go for a ride around 11-ish ... maybe do OLH, then back.

Peddle Pusher,

Great idea!

Your locale and time could not be more perfect for me. I would love to meet up somewhere for a ride.

I live in Concord, but I ride down your way a lot.

Maybe meet at Pegasus/Peets in Danville? or

at the Iron Horse parking lot at Danville Blvd & Rudgear?

I will PM you with my cell number. Give me a call!

Ron, did you end up riding Hicks? Thought I saw you on the back side by the lake.

I'm heading out in a bit. Haven't decided yet, maybe Page Mill to 84 then up OLH or Kings

I'm taking off within 30 mins to an hour or so.

Might do the extended San Mateo Hills loop.

Just came back ... Magdelena, Stonebridge, Elena, Natoma, Black Mountain, Arastradero, OLH, and back. Turned out to be a really nice riding day.

And BigSean, I was riding around Kennedy and Shannon last weekend (had to get in a quick loop before the company picnic). Haven't gotten around to the full Hicks loop yet.

I'm glad I ignored the clouds and my cozy bed, and rather went out for a ride. Met Pizza-Man and team between Danville and Alamo, also enjoying themselves at 28 mph :).

Well I didn't meet up with Peddle Pusher, although it was nice to talk to him on the phone. I did get a real good Metric in via a Concord to Sunol Ridge Regional Park: Out-n-Back

It was a gorgeous day to ride. Special thanks to "Hammer Nutrition Kit Guy", "Missing Link Jersey Guy" and "Seven Bike With Carbon Fork Guy" for the great fast pulls you each graciously gave me today.

I turned in a metric in 4:15 from when I left to when I got home with the help of those guys and some kind of devil's brew called Redline that I drank at mile 38. That stuff has wicked high caffeine for a kick to the finish. It and my old standby a Payday bar really lit the fuse for the last 20 miles.

Giro De Vino for me - 64 miles of relatively flat cruising in gorgeous weather and with good company.

Came home and BBQ'ed some donated wild ducks. Mmmmmmmmm...........

Did a shortened version of the San Mateo Hills route. That's all.

We hit Water Dog on the mountain and cross bikes. Except for the shower we rode through on the way over there, it ended up being a great ride. Wet but traction was not too bad in the dirt.

Missed out today :(, had to head to Calgary for work.

At least I got in a couple nice (if mucky) rides on Friday. :)

Rode over to Los Altos and up Moody, Page Mill to Skyline. I was planning on riding over to HW 9 but got a rear flat tire on Skyline on the first descent from Page Mill Alpine intersection. Patched the tire and descended Page Mill instead. Still managed a decent 36 miles.

Did Cyclocross race in the morning and spent the rest of the day doing errands to get ready to go to Switzerland on Tuesday, 11/4. Got 24th out of 70.
