Texas - How long can this go on???

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm talking about the weather!! Has been a delightful Fall with no end in sight. Rode yesterday in the Mapearl/Itasca/Grandview area and some nice Fall colors have started to appear down there. Just a fabulous day.

We've got some nice colors appearing in Garland, for that matter. And yes, it is nice. :)

Make sure to let us know when you have time to ride so we know when to expect a super cell conditions and tornados. :D

Same here. I've tried MAKING time... and it has only worked once... for a small 45min ride. That one fell into my lap when a professor delayed an exam and I was tired of studying.

the weather is so good I started commuting.
I've only had two attempted vehicular homicides in one day. That's a good day for SW houston!

Has anyone noticed that traffic has been worse, after the hurricane?

Lots worse... but I haven't been bike commuting. I'd like to, but the 20mi would just take too much more time. I know, others do it... but there's a big difference between 10, and 20... especially when I have to be semi-fresh at work. I could ride hard, and take less time... but be worn out and sweaty, or ride slow, and being commiting too much time to commuting.

I think it has to do with the price of gas going back down. It's now cheaper to drive with cranium inserted in rectum type behaviors. :injured: Be careful out there.
