Just a shout out to all who attended the Lorain Wheelmen's annual, RED FLANNEL RIDE. Many of you stopped and said Hi at the rest stop where I was making the pancakes, sorry if I didn't get a chance to say much, as you could see, I was rather busy. I made cakes for 400 riders, using up 12 pounds of batter and half a bag of chocolate chips for the special cakes for BF members who stopped and said Hi, well as long as you asked for them, that is. We actually ran out of food at our stop, the last few riders only got the leftovers, mostly wheat bread, with PB&J and a few bannanas. BTW the cookies were all made by my wife!!

What a great day you had out there, the weather couldn't have been better and the leafs on the trees still had some great color! I was very jealous, but as some of you saw, me and the wife made it out and saw some of you along the way as we rode the back half of the ride out to the Wakeman rest stop and back.

Hope you all had as great a time riding as we did putting the ride on for you. Tell your friends about it and bring'em on out next year.

Thanks again, Lienad (DAN)

I had a really good time today! Was in good company, there were a few hills which was pretty cool. And yes, the weather couldn't have been better.

Thank you Dan and your club for putting on a nice event; your pancakes rocked! And tell mrs. leinad I enjoyed the cookies as well!:thumb:

As usual an awesome ride on by the Wheelman. Very nice route and well marked with little traffic. Awesome Pancakes and cookies Dan :) Thankfully there was no Ho Ho cake or I never would have made the climb out of the valley.

Thank you Dan, your wife, and the Lorain Wheelmen for putting on a great ride. I was glad to see you two got out and enjoyed some of the day as well. Us Pennsyvanians really enjoyed the day, and the route was top notch.

Nice to see, and meet all you other BF folks at the start. Sorry we didn't get a chance to ride out with you folks, as we had to wait for Dave to get there. He actually arrived about 5 minutes after you rolled, but we were probably 15 minutes behind by the time he got registered. But hey, it was still a great day on the bike, and this ride is high on my list of favorites.

Without BF, I would have never known this ride existed. Thanks for getting the word out on an excellent event.

Dan,

Kudos to you, your wife and club for hosting such a great event. I intended to say "hi" at the rest stop but my group got restless and wanted to leave. It was a great day for a ride and an even better day to ride with friends and buddies, including Chip and Sheri for a bit.

Dan, this was my first organized group ride and it was really fun. I never really realized how fun it was to ride with so many people and not feel pressured to perform.
And thanks for the freakin' AWESOME pancakes and cookies!
