Saw a BMX bike at my local recycle yard for $100au, I'll try to describe it....sorry no pics.

It had front suspension forks with a double clamp set-up, similar to down hill MTBs, the struts were real thin and there was nowhere to mount any front brakes, the wheels are 20 inch. The rear had a big coil Rockshox that run underneath the topbar to the rear part of the frame, so essentially it was a dual suspension BMX. The frame was like nothing I've seen before and to add to it's weirdness....it had an old 3 speed Shimano internal gear hub...What is it? :twitchy:

Do a search for Repco Monoshock.

Since they were made in Oz, it was my first thought. I found out about Repco's when someone here posted a pic of one in one of those two threads.

I used to ride a Gracco dual suspension BMX back in the 70's. I wish now I would have kept it. Traded it in when I bought a, wait for it,

when I bought a moped. doh!

Well, this bike is in restorable condition, the front forks seem to be in good shape, the rear Rockshox shock is not original and is good also. It has no mudguards and the guys at the recycle yard want $100 for it, which seems a bit steep.......perhaps I shouldn't have told them the true value of a Moulton they sold for 5 bucks a few weeks back :(
