As some of you know, I keep a fairly large collection of links to tandem-related information and resources on my web site, to include a map of tandem specialty dealers http://www.thetandemlink.com/dealers.html and an associated by-name listing: http://www.thetandemlink.com/tandems.html#anchor1145193
However, while this listing was accurate when I first created www.thetandemlink.com back in 2000 and has been updated as new information has come to my attention, it's probably time for a complete redo.
Therefore, I'm soliciting your help. If you look at my listings and Web-based resources and believe information is out of date or that new tandem-specialty or tandem-friendly dealers should be added, please let me know in this thread or via a PM. Ideally, these should be businesses that really do have some knowledge and expertise in regard to tandems and have a few floor models on hand for test rides.
Also, if you have a chance, feel free to let me know if there are any tandem builders who either need to be removed or added to this listing: http://www.thetandemlink.com/tandems.html#anchor1145574. Again, I try to keep up, but I'm sure a few have definitely slipped through the cracks
As a general disclaimer, neither this map nor my links list is intended to be a complete list of all tandem dealer locations throughout North America. Instead, these are dealers and businesses who have been brought to my attention by word of mouth, through their participation in the various discussion forum, or with whom I've personally done business. Moreover, a dealer listing on my web site does not constitute a recommendation or endorsement. Without exception, always seek out independent references from past or current customers who can offer an objective assessment of their satisfaction with any shop or business.
Thanks
