will an isis crank with a 108 bb work with this frame?

is that geometry chart correct with the same size tt tube in sizes 49 and 51?

For the BB question- we have used a lot of the FSA newtron cranks (such as seen in the build pics) and that did well with a 113mm. If you use a more track-specific crank (like FSA carbon pro) then I would go 108mm ISIS. Hope that helps!

Christy- geometry chart is correct, but technically the 49cm top tube is 51.5cm actual and the 51cm is 51.59cm top tube (almost 51.6cm). The geometry is slight sloping road. It is a very comfortable ride, but the frames tend to run a bit small- better to size up if the standover looks right for you. Hope that helps!

so how would this work. do i have to buy, say 3 frame sets to get the lower rate? Or if 3 people buy through this thread then we each get a frame for 125. If 10 people or more buy are they $100 each. Just not clear on the deal.

Great question- the deal is 3, 5, or 10 frames to the same address in order to qualify for the special price. That way it is a group buy- one order, one shipping. If 3/5/10 people who live near each other can get together an order you will get a great price on the frames. If you want to split shipping to different addresses add $15 per frame and we can do that.

Hopefully that makes some sense- let me know if I can clarify further,

So if we get 10 people on the forum to pay for a frame, and have "split" shipping, it would be $115 per frame/forked shipped?

If that is the case, I am interested in getting a 49cm frame. Anyone else want in on this?

You got it- find 9 other people- let's coordinate the order (with payment) and off you go $115 each out the door.

23c with fenders is no problem. The rear has fender mounts on top & bottom. Hope that helps!

Kringle- on this round of frames (with chromoly fork) both front and rear require long reach (57mm) brakes if you are running brakes. We have some reasonably priced long reach brakes if you can't locate any. For the water bottle cages- thanks for bringing to our attention that they were spaced too closely together. This batch of frames that we currently have is the same as you got- which means it works fine with one cage, but if you use both cages one bottle has to be flipped.

The first picture of just the frame & fork is what you will receive. We were waiting on our chromoly forks for a while and built up the complete bikes with a carbon fork.

What is the biggest tire that will fit with fenders? Any chance we could get a CF fork or no fork at all?

What is the biggest tire that will fit with fenders? Any chance we could get a CF fork or no fork at all?

Biggest tire- I would say 30 or 32c

For the forks- we only have one of those carbon forks left- already mounted on a frame with a headset- if there is a group buy of 10 I don't want to offer it to one and not all. No fork would be fine- although it wouldn't really make a price difference because we get them bundled together and don't sell the forks separate.
Hope that helps!

it really does not look like a tire that big would clear the seat tube. certainly there is room under the brake bridges, but those sharp angles seem to make it pretty tight

OK- so we put a 28c then a 32c tire on the frame and they both work. This also depends on how far back you have the wheel in the dropout. With the wheel about half way in the dropout you have 2mm of clearance from the seat-tube (this is on a 53cm I believe).
The side-to-side clearance between the seat & chain stays is plenty.

This is a 32c tire installed- pulled about half way back in the dropout

Everyone should be aware, before purchasing this frame, that the bottom bracket is really low. I mean really low. I wouldn't use anything bigger than 167.5mm cranks, when fixed.

Seems like it has lost momentum. We may have a few carbon forks left if we get enough people going here in time!
