I'm another first timer at Bike forums and would like to introduce myself. I live over 20km from my job, and have been bussing the trek for the last one and a half years. Since March, I have been biking to work, my patience with the ever slowing bus system expired. If the head winds are not to strong (> 30km/h), I usually beat the bus. I've crashed 3 times already, all due to winter conditions, the mayors respectible job in maintaining the roads, and wrong choice of tires, street tires that is. Otherwise, I'm getting the rhythm going and having alot of fun. My aim is to be able to maintain my bike at home, and maybe I can catch a course or two on maintenance here in town. But otherwise, thanks to the job (computers), I've learnt to use the internet for problem solving, an thats why I'm here. So I hope I don't break the patience of the group here. Thanks for having me.
