With the help of some good friends I finally got my SS built last weekend. The parts have been hanging around the garage for a couple of months. It’s a Road SS built on a Rapallo frame that was taken out of a dumpster. It’s set up at 42x15 now. I’m getting it tweaked. the bottom bracket came loose on the first ride. It’s holding solid now. the Head set came loose on the second ride. It’s solid now too. I want to get the bugs worked out and get used to it before I start commuting on it. I'm going to ride a practice commute on it this weekend and see how it goes. it still has the cassette on it so I may change the set up to 42x17 until I get used to it. When I get the legs for this I plan to buy a flip flop hub and do the fixie thing. I’ll post a picture in a day or two. I just wanted to say thanks for all I’ve learned on the SS fixie forum.
