Hey all,

I'm about two weeks away from opening a bike shop here in Brooklyn and I'm looking for mechanics. I'm looking for someone who is skilled and reliable. We are a low key, hard working, and friendly store that caters to the urban cyclist/commuter. Knowledge of older bikes is a huge plus. Please contact me at brian@brooklynbikeandboard.com if you are interested or have any questions. Thanks!

I'm opening shop in Prospect Heights. A couple of blocks from the park. It's a great location and an awesome space. I honestly can't believe it all came through!

We're aiming for a December 15th opening.

Bump

Not a mechanic, but yes, hooray for more shops. Hope you find a few good guys.

You should go to the Trek store on McDonald Ave. I spoke to one of the wrenches there who seemed to be quite capable, and also sad about working in a Trek store.

Maybe steal one of those guys.

whats the pay? I only ask because I'd have to relocate from Jamestown, NY. I'm looking to move to LBC but my wife wants to come live in NYC for a little while first. I'm all for moving to NYC but I'll never do anything but wrench on bikes ever again. shoot me a message back. I'm gonna look for a place to live out there.
