Utility Cycling - Extra-Wheel Trailer
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

There are quite a few posts on this already. Doing a search will show them.

Still sounds like the BOB is about the best act in town from most the people that use a trailer for any type of touring. If I go with a trailer it will be used for both touring and local errands, I'd really rather use a 2 wheel trailer but bike lanes are few where I live and a two wheel axel just isn't an option with the ******ed cagers around here.
Yeah yeah I know xtracycle is an option but I don't want take my main bike (only one with gears anyway) and extend the wheel base. And I honestly find the xtracycle option to be a bit overpriced. Time to dig around on the Koolstop trailer maybe.

When you compare an Extra Wheel to an Xtracycle, the price of the Xtra seems in the right ballpark.

Nice but not easy to use for the utility cyclist.
