A message to everyone:

Fixed gear bikes do not improve your pedalstroke, but they are awesome bikes.

John Wilke

Why do you say that? One of my favorite rides was Pewaukee Lake ... 20 miles into the wind, climb some hills, 20 miles tailwind - on track bikes. Pedal or die! :)

This is complete foo, but I'm 36 years old I laughed so hard I cried. After sharing with a few others, it has been determined that this will either make you pee your pants funny, or have no effect at all.

I found this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIcTyIrqH-8) the other day.

Backstory:
This is the last round of the 2008 F1 season and for Ferrari's guy (Massa) to win the championship, he needed to win the race, and McLaren's guy (Hamilton) need to place 6th or lower.
Massa won the race and on the last lap Hamilton was in 6th place, poising Massa for the Championship, but on the last turn of the last lap, Toyota's guy (Glock) slowed down to let Hamilton pass him and take the title.
The video is in Ferrari's garage, BTW as they think Massa won.

And one more pilfered from those crazy Alt Bike guys.

Behold the Waffle Bike. It's got a motor, speakers blaring out Islamic music, a waffle maker, condiments, a chicken coop, a machete and two rifles. I was laughing too hard to remember anything else.

So I'm friends with one of my old high school buddy's ex-girlfriends. A few weeks ago I proposed the idea that we get back at him (the breakup was messy), so last night I put up a craigslist ad in the m4m section with his picture and the body of the post pretty much saying "I'm an 18 y/o tink looking for an 18-23 y/o bear. I'm new and just want to have fun, etc."
So I check the e-mail account because I'm goign to hand out his number to everyone and there are 16 replies. This is gonna be good.

I decided on my wheel purchase. As some of you know I am in no position to be spending money carelessly on things. However, I really did need to buy a set of wheels- because those Xeros are the biggest piece of garbage.

I was going to go powertap. The more I thought about it, as beneficial as it would be I am not ready finacially to buy such a big ticket item. I am just a wimpy ol' cat4, and have other things to worry about like bills.

I then looked at Zipp CSC team issue wheels. I was almost set on these, but read of a few problems with them. Next up was Reynolds Attack. Carbon wheels- how bling, and with reynolds name for durability. Again, a little too much money, plus sometimes I like to hit nasty roads.

I finally decided on some Easton EA90 Aeros. They were on ebay for about $500. A bit more than the chainlove deal. But... I still had 2 hours to use the november 10% off coupon. I also signed up for the live.com cashback deal for 30% cashback. So after everything they'll end up costing me about $315 shipped. Pretty good deal I think.

We remarked how we got doubly slammed, it's not bad enough that the Browns lose, but then P'burgh wins.....

ps: psst.....that was raw fish you were eating.

you did, Black Friday shopping award goes to Scott. :thumb:

If I had some extra money to spend on myself, I would get some new wheels, and I would be ecstatic to get that deal.

ps...the Clash, the Ramones, the Doors, all really good, great even, but Led Zep....is the greatest. There is no debate :-) (putting hands over ears and running out of the room humming Stairway)
