Foo - Is it safe to go outside now?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
This is my first election day in FL. It looks really quiet outside and I need to go to Walmart to get some stuff that ran out.
In my native island, going outside right after an election is a no no. Everybody is drunk. Some are celebrating by going on drunken joyrides. Some are bitter and looking for trouble to cope with the loss. Others are shooting machine guns into the air... mayhem.

The shooting and drunken revelry sounds like Northern Cali.
Florida isn't safe any time of year, IMHO.

hehe - same here!!!:thumb:
I live in Texas. Shooting and driving go hand in hand, but we save it for the highways. At least in my hood.

It's Florida, the majority of the populace had their dinner at 4:00 pm and are in bed before 8.

Here in Memphis the screaming started first then the shooting lasted til the wee hours. However it was worse on new years
Well.. I went to Walmart, came back... nothing happened. No drunks, no jot riding... pretty quiet. I was surprised.
