Foo - Stacey 11/5

Just wanted to let everyone know that Stacey is sleeping more and more. She only eats once a day and, she thinks she can drink a lot of fluids, but can't. Her stomach is smaller and she thinks it's the same and should be holding more then it is.
I will be back later.

To let everyone know that her hallucinations are getting worse. She has had me up sense 3:30 this morning with them and wanting to argue over the littlest things. I don't know when I will be posting again today, she wants me to be right there in the living room with her. It's going to be hard to move away from her unless she is really in a deep sleep like right now.

There are a couple of different threads.

One is a stickie.

In a nutshell Stacey had been on treatment for Leukemia for some time, and the treatment had become ineffective, so this summer treatment was stopped, and she has since then been under hospice care. At the time treatment ended she was under a ban from Bikeforums for an earlier incident.

At the time treatment ended her doctor had given her 6 weeks to live. At the request of many here upon hearing the news, the moderators consented to lift her ban, at which point she became active on the forum again as her health allowed. Evva and Air have kept us up to date when Stacey hasn't been able to do so herself.

We were fortunate that Stacey had more than 6 weeks of forum activity, sporadic at times as her energy fluctuated... now we are limited to indirect contact.

Got more sleep 6:15 to 8:40. Stacey got up had her meds and some Morphine. Her stomach is still hurting, my guess is the spleen has gotten bigger and putting pressure on it.Her nurse comes tomorrow so I will ask her about it. She's sleeping right now, so I can get somethings done.

Having been involved indirectly and periodically with my father-in-law's time in hospice care, I know the stress this is placing on you, but that your love is giving you strength in this hard time.

Our love goes out to you and Stacey now... but I want you to know now so you don't forget. When you need it most, our love and prayers will continue to be with you, when you need it most too.

Thank you all for the support, love, prayers and friendship. I had a hour power nap and she's talking about going up the steps to take a shower. I told her she has to wait for Roberta and Carol to come home so I can get some help. She is sleeping right now.
