I've got a dynamo headlight that works, but is really not very bright at all. It is almost identical to this one:

I've ordered a Cree XR-E R2 WH and optic from Cutter, found a bridge rectifier, and got some old capacitors (3300uF) out of a broken power supply. So now I'm thinking about the physical aspect of mounting the components inside the headlight. Has anyone done this? Are there things I should watch out for?

I guess it wouldn't be too different from the "Electra Bullet Headlight Hot Rodded With Cree R2 thread" (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=467186) Both housings are about the same size..

Thanks a lot -- search just can't compete with a person who's been following the board.
