Vanillas dropouts have to be some of the most beautiful bike art I've ever seen. They're just incredible. I want one of the bikes just for that, really, so sexy.

true, but then you actually have to scrap up enough cash for the dastardly "down payment". plus, im eating lots of peanut butter, which means ill be much too big by the time the bike actually comes my way. its a cruel world, seriously.

-that stuff is in it's true element.....being leered at on the internet.

From there it's all downhill, via the mantlepiece, or hanging in a heated double garage with the other status toys.

Give me something beautifully spartan and functional. Plain and strong. No extraneous frills. Designed for purpose.

...kinda like a single speed bicycle.
