I am installing a Campy Veloce BB. I have the Park BBT-4 installation tool, rather than the official Campy tool. The instructions indicate that the torque should be 51.63 lb ft. Since I can't attache the BBT-4 to the torque wrench, does 51.63 lb ft. translate into real, real snug?
TIA for any guidance.

I would say... yes :p But not that much, you odnt want to screwup the threads
Use teflon tape un the threads and a little bit of grease to them also.
U want to be able to take bb cups later one right?

Look at it this way. It's 50lb's of force on a 1 foot long lever. Grease the crap out of the BB shell and install.
It'll be pretty tight.

50 pound-ft is way beyond snug. In fact it's far beyond REAL snug.
