I know lots of XC guys that use their head sets. Are they any good for DH/Freeride?

They are pretty tough and make one called the steelset for heavyduty use but it only fits some head tubes. There are some others that are pretty good, like the Pig that are much less exspensive.

I use a FSA pig on my DH bike and a CK on my CC bike. I know a couple of DH guys that have used normal CK headsets on 3-4 frames with no problems. One races expert and the other pro.
