I just received the 140 taillight but am having a frustrating time trying to determine how and where to mount the AA battery pack? I could not find the information on their website.

any place you want too. remember you need to unplug it when done so you need easy access.
velcro strap between the saddle rails, on top of rack, inside saddle bag, etc.

which version did you get, Li Ion or AA? The Li Ion should have come with a strap and the AA with a pouch and Velcro strap. I mount mine to the seat post, but any part of the frame will work.

I figured it out from this picture. I didnt realize that is how the velcro strap was meant to go around.

My Li battery fits nicely between the seat tube, seat stays and fender. In that little triangle that the three make. It's out of the way and the fender keeps it clean.

For the taillight, I suspend the battery pack up between the saddle rails. I have a seat bag, too, but it's really easy since I have a Fizik saddle with their clip-in seat bag.
For the headlight, I put the battery pack underneath the stem.

Hi I mount the rechargeable Li pack in a mini wegi pack on my specialized, keeps it warm and dry and neat.

What do you mean by this? I don't unplug my Dinotte after riding, and I haven't seen anything on their web site or the info that came with the light that says you should unplug.

I only heard one person that says the batteries drain if left plugged in. so I emailed dinotte and was told yes you need to unplug it as the switch never turns off. but the site does say disconnect the battery when done. they just never explained why.
this is the email I got when I asked if the lights drained the batteries when left plugged in.
It does.. the switch is a non latching switch, so it's waiting to turn on
which is why you want to unplug the light when it's not in use.
