Foo - I hate ABC

For some reason they think that I would rather watch Clemson play Florida State than PSU and Iowa. I hate living in ACC country where they assume people care about stupid worthless ACC football. NOBODY CARES ABOUT THE ACC.

I haven't checked, but I'm pretty sure that I will get to see Penn State here in the Wilkes-Barre area. ;)

I beg to differ, I'm totally excited about this game. Sure FSU is going to get penalties and fumble their way to a loss, but it'll be fun to watch! It's supposed to be a sellout crowd at Doak Campbell (it was last year against Clemson, anyway). I'm glad it won't be on ppv!

Which is why I don't bother with TV.

Good story. Hopefully he'll be a role model for a lot of athlete-students, who so often seem to put "ballin'" ahead of everything else in life.

As an Iowa fan, can any of you local PSU people please tell me who won? Cringing in advance; I know there is no way that lowly little Iowa can stand up to you. Good luck with the remainder of your undefeated season; be glad you don't have to play in some meanigless bowl just because some upstart got you with a suckerpunch.

As for the OP, ABC puts on the games that put the most revenue in their coffers. THEY certainly don't give a rat's behind about college football.

Don't be coy: who won??? Are you suggesting that little Iowa won? Oh my, it must be so painful to keep talking about it. Are you sure PSU lost? Perhaps you should go back and watch the ending again and again to be sure you saw it correctly. I know it will hurt, but that really is the only way to be sure. And maybe ESPN made a mistake on their ticker, so be sure to verify it on CBS and Rivals and other places. Watch that last 3 seconds repeatedly. Carefully. Let it sink into your consciousness. FSU and Clemson are in the ACC, not the SEC or the Big 12. Nonetheless, different people have different priorities. :rolleyes:

As an aside, the starting Left Tackle went to the local Catholic school. Nice kid...def. a football player. Total mammoth of a man. He had people as far as Miami looking at him...Starting L Tackle at Iowa as a Soph? That boy is NFL bound.
