Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Appears we are shut down in Ohio due to weather the next several days.:(
Pedaling indoors is not an option for me.

hmmm....even though I just posted in tomorrow's ride thread that I was not looking forward to riding in the rain....I do have to ask something.
Do you melt? If not then how is that shut down?
We'll be racing in it on Sunday. Rain or shine.
Poop.

That cyclocross racing is a first class ticket to nowhere!
(I'll be there too.)

Light showers/mist and 67 here now - that's not too bad.
Only a chance of rain on Saturday, though the temps are in the 50's and mostly cloudy on Sunday with a high of 47. I will likely be out on both days.

Cross....what happens when cyclists switch to running for the winter, but just can't leave their bike behind.
Save Ferris.

Running with a bike is still boring... you just get to look forward to being able to hop back on.

Lots out there. Performance has Fuji and some Scatatatatanattanates. If you're serious call me sometime and we can kick around information.

Its not the rain, not the cold, its all the wet leaves where I ride in northern Ohio this time of year.
Those little greasy devils will bring you down quicker than Enron stock. Can,t see myself on a mountain bike but with my sore hip from last Autumn I may nose around Performance this weekend.

I rode my MTB for an hour at dusk yesterday. 37F light rain, windy. I ran the tires real soft and rode mostly on the grass and poked around the Lake Michigan shore where I found this paved trail going down to the lake (100ft) with switchbacks! At beach level there was a fairly wide hiking trail for a couple hundred yards that lead to the beach, then a rocky section, then a doable walk back up the bluff. I quickly forgot about my cold hands - a fun ride for a roadie. :)
