He is trying to locate an old flame by going back to the future via Craigslist. What is not to get.

not an old flame, just a girl who held him down when he was 12 and kissed him....
one day when I got done with the paper route Michelle held me down in the back yard that our houses shared and kissed me
Must have been a pretty amazing kiss, be probably had to change his underwear afterwards...
Could be a flame that burned incredibly bright for a very short amount of time.

just a tip: never let those things drip into your shoe. Especially if you're not wearing any socks.
The burn marks are just now going away....
^ okay...I'll bite. How the hell did you do that?

You don't want to know. Trust me. You do NOT WANT TO KNOW. I'm just throwing it out there that burning magnesium globs hurt like heck. And due to circumstances beyond my control, I could not kick my shoe off, so I just had to let those globs burn inside of my shoe. Fortunately, they were mostly out by the time they worked their way in, but MAN it was hot.

Hot enough to set off thermite. Which, btw, you definitely don't want globs of lit thermite on your shoes....you wont have a foot when it gets done.

Although I was 18 when I dropped those flare droppings into my shoe. Did it something like, 20 times.
I'm a slow learner.

I was a welder for a bit and had molten steel shoot down my shirt like a zillion times! ( leather smock and all!) Seems like those little molten balls of steel were using laser tracking systems as they always managed to get in the tiny gap between my shirt and my chest! Nothing you can do but let it roll on down! Damn that hurt! When I got home and removed my shirt it looked like little burning cars had a race down my chest!

I always had a problem with that because I've got good concentration and a high tolerance for pain, and once you interrupt yourself in the middle of a bead, it's tough to get it started again sometimes. I would sometimes shrug off the pain, then realized I had massive, fluid-filled burns later on. I still have some wild scars from it.
