Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Alright, so the demo of Left4Dead is out today for people who've pre-ordered it through Steam.
I've been following it since it was first announced, and I want to play so badly, but I need to build a new PC first. Mine will choke and die, and then choke again. Hopefully I can get the rig built before December, and then have a holiday month of gaming bliss.
Has anyone here played it yet? Any thoughts, anyone else looking forwards to some quality zombie action?

Is it zombie action a la Dead Rising or Resident Evil? If its more like DR (as in, more actiony arcade style), then I'll be into it. If its another horror-survival game like RE or Dead Space, I'll pass. That's been done so much now that it's almost tiresome. But I still pop in Dead Rising. For all its flaws -- and it has MANY -- it's still a pretty unique game, awesomely so.

It's a Co-op online first person survival shooter. The most interesting thing is the game AI, called the Director. Procedurally generates enemies based on your location, how well you're doing, and on how many enemies you've been fighting previously.
There's also a versus mode where you have players as boss zombies. Check out www.left4dead411.com if you want to see trailers and interviews, it's the best source I've found so far.
