I bought this bike back in the 80's, but now the 80's are kind of a blur :rolleyes: Do you have any idea of the model year. It has the biopace chain rings.

My guess places it somewhere between 1987 and 1989. Are some of the components original? If so, could you take some closeup shots or post a description of them. That paint scheme/graphics and style of components seem to point to late 1980s. I would also guess that since it has chainstay mounted U-brakes, that we're looking closer to 87 or 88. I seem to recall those brakes falling out of favour by 1989.
BTW, that's a nice sharp looking bike.

1987 Rockhoppers were white 1988 or 1989 I think.
