Folding Bikes - any chance I might try someone's BF tikit next week in Cincy?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hi,

I hope I'm not annoying people with my multiple posts... I'm just trying to find the best bike for the money (as I don't have a lot). My tour is going to be in the Cincinnati area for the next 2 weeks (Nov. 11-23) and the Bike Friday site doesn't list any dealers in the area; sooo... I was wondering if there might be someone on the forum who might meet up with me so that I could test ride a tikit (I'm looking specifically at the Season tikit, but I'd love to try any of them). I'd take you out for lunch!
Thanks!

Terry :)

I'm have one on order and am out of town right now. I'll be back Thursday and will know more then. I swear my brother's kids have spilled juice on the key board. I tried to PM you earlier but I don't think it went through.

I'm from Cincy, but not a Ticket owner. But if a Pocket-Rocket is on your list I can help

Hi, thanks! Let me know when you get back and maybe we can hook up... I'm on a bus tour though, so I'd have to figure out transport... thanks again!

Hey Thor, I actually spoke to you the other day about a MU P24 (since I currently ride a P8), but after some research into packability, I'm leaning more toward Bike Friday. I'm still keeping my P8 for home use, though.
Btw, thanks sooo much for replacing that broken handlebar part; it hasn't arrived yet, but I'm looking forward to it! I'll be ordering some accessories from you soon!

So... I'm now thinking either a BF Season tikit or a Pocket Llama (rather than the NWT, as I can put Big Apples on the Llama)... I'd change the thread title, but can't figure out how :-? Thanks again, everyone!

I know someone in the Cincy are that has a older model called the "Metro". Similar lines to the LLama but no front dérailleur. I could put you in touch with him if you like.

Are you performing with the CSO?

hmmm... I know that I'm being picky, but if I decide to go with the Llama, I'm most likely going to go with the Nexus 8sp internal hub... I appreciate the offer, though; thanks!
Funny thing, as a musician, when I think of CSO, I think of Chicago... but no, I'm in town for two weeks playing with the national tour of the Wizard of Oz.
