greetings,
just got the light and noticed that with rechargeable AA batteries the
fit is very tight. I am wondering how hard it will be to get the batteries
out once they discharge? Tweezers perhaps?
otherwise, looks to be a fine rear light.

If you happen to have bolted it on, then it's possible the bolt has intruded too far into the bolt hole and bulged the wall of the battery chamber.

I used some pliers to pull out the batteries slightly marring the batteries.
The plastic sleeve inserts also came out and leaving out the plastic inserts
the batteries go in much more easily. problem solved I guess

Remove the plastic sleeves. After using the light for awhile the battery's will wear in a bit and they become easier to take out over time. I have one that is mounted using the belt clip on a seat bag loop. I am able to turn the open end of the light down and give it a tap dislodging the batteries.
