I'm 5'1" and I have a Giant OCR 1 small (mens) compact road frame, which I am pretty streched out on. I'm on the search for a new bike. Today I'm gonna try the Trek WSD three different sizes. The 43, 47, and the 51. I think I already know that I will be getting the 2200 and I think the bike that would fit me best would be the 47 but I am concerned about a few things.
My current bike has 700c wheels and I was told that the three sizes I will be looking at will have the 650c wheels. I wanted to stay with the 700c and am finding it difficult to just accept the 650c.
My biggest concern is it seems that the 650c tires/tubes are not that popular or they are not that easy to find. Although the LBS said that they will have them. When I asked if they had any on hand right then, they did not.
I need someone to tell me that my concern is just stupid and to just get the bike that feels good to me.
