My actual name is Rich Wood
My interests include biking, tattoo collecting, hobbyist machinist, amateur astronomy, guns and reading. I am old enough to be retired an enjoying it.
Areas of interest in reading include history and technology, science fiction, astronomy and horology though I will read almost anything if well written.
Bikes currently owned include a Civia Hyland Rohloff, a Swobo Dixon with SRAM 9 speed hub, a about 1983Colnago Super Record, a Duracycle fixed gear and a Univega 21 speed urban bike. The Duracycle has a older SRAM 3 speed hub wheel as well as the fixed gear wheel. It will also probably have a SRAM 5 speed hub gear wheel made up and installed for additional gear range flexibility.
Quite interested in gear hubs and gear hub bikes and I have started a Yahoo group to support them as well as other non-derailleur bikes. If interested then contact me for a link to the group.
