Ok, just some information. One of my friends gave me his old MGX D50i bike. It's not much, but it's alot better than my POS Magna bike, which I only used on the road anyway. It's fairly good for me, and the full susp keeps my butt from getting too sore. I don't really have money for anything better, and for free, you can't argue...

Ok, my problem is such. Whenever I ride, the bike's gears always grab at my pants or whatnot. Any ideas on a good place to get a chainring, to prevent this? My old bike had one, and it wasn't an issue, but it's bigger than the gear on the D50i.

It really hurts to get your whatnot caught in the chainring.

Try getting a velcro strap to hold your pants leg. You could also just wear shorts, but that might make the whatnot problem worse.

If your what not is getting hung up you might consider a career in the adult film industry. Get a pants strap, called the ankle biter, comes in four colors, $2.95

Haha, ok, I didn't mean my whatnot, but ok, ok...

Pants strap? Where could I get one of these?

Could I just use some paracord instead?

Sure. A ruber band will work as well. You can get the straps from just about any bike shop.
