Hiya,

been lurking since earlier this month, and just soaking it all in - thought it was time to say Hi! - I'm a recreational rider and I ride a Diamond Back hybrid I bought, oh, has to be about 8 years ago now - I'm 45, woman - I haven't ridden as much as I'd like for the last couple of years but I'm looking forward to getting back to it this year

Welcome, I'm not keeping track, but I would guess we have well over 100 chi-town members here. Enjoy the forums.

Is it warm enough to ride up there yet? It's gotta be freezing in Chicago still.

I second that. And Sunday, it was 74. Today, still in the sixties, but they're predicting snow either today or tomorrow. Chicago weather. Go figure!

Welcome to the forum, fellow Chicagoean!

Thanks everybody, happy to be here - it was too windy for me this weekend after not riding for a while, but I'm definitely gettin' the itch - nice to know there are so many Chicago people here too - seems I'm always one of the few on any other list I've been on
