Anybody know if you can get vsf-Fahrradmanufaktur bikes (http://www.fahrradmanufaktur.de/) in the USA? I've seen a bunch over here (in Vienna) and they are really nice - wondering if anybody imports them.

Oh, they make some killer bikes. There are very few single-speed disc-brake bikes around. And theirs are Hydraulic at that! Amazing.

With the euro/$ exchange rate being what it is, I highly doubt anyone but perhaps one or two specialty shops would bother to import these. It would be cheaper and easier for you to make a deal with an LBS in Vienna for a new one in the box, haul it to the airport in a taxi, bring it home with you as checked baggage, then assemble it here.
I looked into doing that with a Gazelle from the LBS near our regular hotel in AMS. There were no importers here in the states. The LBS would have charged several hundred euros to ship, and it was more cost-effective to bring it home as baggage. But it just isn't anything I absolutely needed to do just at the time (especially spending the 1200 euros right after buying a brand-new commuter bike). Maybe next summer.
