I'm upgrading from 105 triple crankset to ultegra triple on an '01 Trek 2200. Can/should I continue to use my current 105 BB which seems fine (smooth, no noise)? If I should change it to ultegra, how can I figure out which one to get since both a 68 x 118.5 and a 70 x 118.5 are listed at supergo for use with triple cranks.

Unless your moving from a tapered to splined crank, I'd see no reason to change if you are happy with the performance. Treks would be using the "68".
When you take the 105 out it will say 68-118.5, or some thing simialer.

The 70mm BB is Italian thread. You can keep your 105 BB, it is the same axle length, and spline depth.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to stay with the 105 until its shot. Now I know what to replace it with.
