BMX - BMX Racing

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Is it increasing in popularity after the Olympics? How many people on the board race or have a background? How did you enjoy the Oly final? Are you psyched for next season?
Just in general discuss racing!
oh that reminds me, i still haven't gotten around to watching any of the olympic racing, except for the women's final that i happened to randomly catch when it was actually on

I race and am psyched for next season.
Only like 20 people post on this forum for bmx racing.
But they help a lot. Minichamp31 knows a lot.

Good to know. Is there any places that have more people willing to discuss BMX racing?

It doesn't seem to be any more popular in my side of town after the Olympics has been aired. My time was very brief for bmx racing but I have followed it a bit throughout the years. Count me in if you want to talk about bmx racing.

I think the Olympics helped out BMX a lot. I know a few more people in my school actually have an idea of what it is now. If anybody asks what it is, I have them go on youtube and watch some videos of it. They usually say it looks really cool. But thanks for the props Punx.

I am glad that the Olympics has become more professional and kids racing now have an ambitious goal to chase after. Also, it brought to light the need for cycling/bmx specific training. It's really great for the sport and for the kids out there doing it.
