Classic & Vintage - Viscount Aerospace Pro questions

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
1) Did the 'Aerospace Pro' logo only appear on the right hand side of the top tube?
2) Is there any difference between the bikes painted grey/black, grey/blue/ and blue/white?
3) Is there a good replacement fot the press-in dustcap on the Viscount/Lambert pedals?
4) Are there enough of these out there that we should start a database/serial # listing?

Mine had stickers on both sides of the top tube. Well, partial stickers that I removed the rest of.

I would take part in that. The components on my Aerospace Pro date to 1974.

While the remains of the decal are on the right side the left looks as if nothing was ever there.

I would join, I have my original (now restored) that still rides nicely, although its not carbon by any stretch and I miss having 20spd. Never the less, its still cool riding something that vintage that still is worth riding. With the tubulars and decent gearing its still pretty fast. I wouldn't mind sending pics or providing small hardware (if I have it) to others getting these bikes on the road.

That TT decal must have been put on with spit as I've had a half dozen Viscounts/Lamberts go through my hands and on all the TT decals were long gone. I have seen pictures though.

Decals? We don't got no steenkeeng decals....unless you count my City of Lincoln registration and my 'I'm an Anti-Nuke Cyclist. What Kind Are You?' on the down tube. I'd be happy to participate. Even though my Viscount has morphed a bit and is in winter storage it's still one of the zippiest frames I've ridden.

I guess I missed this the first time through. Cool little bike.
How little does that thing weigh?
