Thanks for the pics!

Coupla interesting items:

1. The Speed frame is no longer steel, so the difference between the Vitesse and the Speed is ever shrinking. It's now down to componentry.

2. Handlepost hinge latch is now also the V-latch, after being too late for last year. I think it is more reliable, but it would have been good to see less screws and a positive retention of the latch temsioning. I see blue Loctite which is way better than nothing.

3. How do they combine Tiagra brake levers with v-brakes?

4. What's the listed weight?


Sensational-looking bike. I like the color.

The V-brakes... are they a mistake? The pic shows the rear brake very nearly rubbing the rim. I don't think Shimano makes special levers for Dahon either, I don't think they make many SPTT's.

They should've gone with Mini-Vs IMHO.

I sure would like to know how the TT works in practice, as I'm thinking of buying a new bike...
