which one should i buy for my sirrus? is there a particular brand you guys would recommend? i want something small, compact, and lightweight. any suggestions?

The Topeak Road Morph is a great pump. It is a bit longer than a true mini pump, but considerably shorter than a frame pump. A flip down footrest and flip up T handle really make it a cinch to pump a tire as high as 120 psi. The built-in pressure guage is extremely convenient, too. I haven't seen anything that I consider better for my purposes.

This one looks good. I saw it in my LBS and it was pretty nice. I wanted to try it out, but didn't want to open the package. perhaps i should ask my lbs to see if i can try it out first. did you buy yours from your lbs or did you buy it form specialized online shop? i was thinking about getting some other parts from specialized (like their new 04 seatpost to upgrade on my 04 sirrus).

the topeak one looks good as well. but pricewise is abit steep. plus one the site is says it goes up to 160psi easily. my tires maxes out at 120psi... so does the tip pop off when ur pumping it close to 100psi or do you have to hold the tip down urself?

Why do you want to upgrade the seatpost? If you are looking at a seatpost upgrade, you'll do better with other brands (Thompson, Easton) IMHO.
The Specialized Airforce pump is not bad as a 'get you out of trouble' pump. I use one on my commuting bike (700x32 tires) and it can get 60-80 lbs in ok. This gets me home so I can use the floor pump to get them up to 100 lbs. Most of the mini pumps at your LBS will do the same for you - just make sure it is a dual action pump (i.e. it pumps air in on the 'in' and 'out' strokes).

One that I heard on a different forum that users liked was the Barbieri CarbOne carbon mini that only weighs at around 64 grams yet pumps up to 145psi and cost around $35. The one I use only because the Barbieri wasn't made yet and I only need 100psi max is the Torelli Aria that weighs about 45 grams and reaches 115psi and cost around $15. The Torelli has different colored end caps you can buy to match your frame or decal color if that excites you.

yeah for the seatpost i was really looking at this one from specialized... 04 Future Shock Suspension Seat Post (http://www.specialized.com/SBCEqProduct.jsp?spid=5092&JServSessionIdroot=loiiwuahg8.j27005) is this one not good? as for the pump right now i'm leaning towards the topeak road morph... since thus far i've been hearing some good reviews on it. plus i really want something that can pump up to 120psi.

Their magazine quotes the MicroMax at 100 psi and it weighs 147 grams, which makes it heavier than the Barbieri CarbOne or the Torelli Aria and it won't pump as much pressure as the Carbone either.
Performance also makes a MiniMax and that one weighs a lot more at 258 grams! But no pressure rating in the mag either, but since it operates like a floor pump I would guess at 145psi. The CarbOne will pump to the same pressure for a lot less weight.
