I have a vintage lugged road bike that I turned into a fixed gear. I recently went to an indoor velodrome and signed up for intro lessons and I can see myself getting the bug,
I've built up a set of Mavic CXP's with formula hubs for the fixed, 36 hole, 3 cross, 14 gauge spokes.
Will this be OK for the track? No serious racing - just want to ride the velodrome in open practice/training sessions.
I have a chance at a track frame and was thinking of moving the hardware from the road fixed to the track bike.
Thanks
