Who here is racing in KC next month? What category?

I'm racing the Masters 30+. Last year I came close to the podium. I finished 51st. You laugh? Were you there? Then you have no idea how close I was to the podium. In fact, I almost rode right into as I cruised by checking out this hot chick by the fence. Anyway, I hope to improve my finish this year. By the way, we had 90 or so in the race. So I don't suck thaaaat bad.

Who's gonna be there?

I will be there racing the Master 30-34.

I didn't go last year, I was going to go watch but due to the ice storm I decided driving there wasn't the safest.

We'll be lining up at the same race. Have you registered yet? I've got a decent spot this year. Last year I was in the second to last row. So this year I made sure I registered as soon as the site opened. Anyway, the weather made last year a tough one. Hopefully the temperature's not quite as chilly this year.

I am 14th on the list, so depending on how the call ups from last years racers goes I should have a great starting spot. I also registered when it opened at midnight, and it was filling up fast.

I'm registered for 35-39, but I might have to bail due to family obligations. Sad, because I've been looking forward to throwing up on snow all season.

I was just looking at the registered riders, and it looks like we will be lined up next to each other, you are one below me on the list.

That's cool. Hopefully the weather's good for us. I see in your blog you were at Jingle Cross. Good results. I did the 2/3 races and had a pretty good time. Sunday I even finished in the money. What time did you race Sunday? We went off at noon and the conditions were awesome! Anyway, Missouri state championships are down in Hannibal, MO this weekend, my final tune-up for nationals.

Ha! My mistake. I wish they were in Hannibal though. So much closer (25 min) of a drive. Hermann's 2 hours for us here in Quincy. You racing both days?
