Well, here I am once again lusting after a bike, only this time I’m giving very serious consideration to going out and buying it this weekend (assuming my test ride tomorrow goes all fine and well). Performance is having a 20% points deal this weekend (opposed to 10%) and the bike I’m looking at is the Giant TCR Composite 2. So, with $2000 for the bike, I’d be getting back $400 worth of performance spendy point things. I prefer to think of it as a $1600 bike since it’s a guarantee that I’ll need at least $400 worth of stuff (tires, tubes, pedals, shoes, saddles, etc.) in the next few years, and because $1600 sounds so much cheaper than $2000. Anyways, I really don’t know why I’m babbling on about this, perhaps just looking for the “go out and buy it” opinions to comfort myself on the possible pending purchase:)
